A Colorful Modular Table With Flower Pot Legs

A series of flower pots nested into this table’s cylindrical legs integrates houseplant life into the everyday rituals of working and dining. Grow on Me brings plants to the table creating the illusion that the foliage is rising directly from the floor.

Supporting a collection of square table tops, the table’s cylindrical legs enable the surfaces to pivot from one another to form a variety of non-traditional seating layouts.

Grow on Me blends plant morphology and human social interaction into one symbiotic system that supports a range of table activities and experiences. When filled with different plant varieties at varying heights, the table can double as screening or become a shared canopy. A grouping of prickly cacti can establish boundaries for office coworkers while enabling clear views and a leafy monstera plant can provide privacy from neighbors at a café.

Not fun at all.

Funny how when we feel overwhelmed we think “if I could just sit and rest a little bit” and then when you’re forced to sit still from injury all you can think is “This stinks, I really
